Room temperature curing epoxy adhesive specially designed for bonding road studs to tar roads. Filler extended, thixotropic, two component system to be applied by spatula.
The average usage rate depends on the road surface – on a smooth road, a kit of 1,5 kg (1kg AR242 and 500g AH351) can bond 12 – 15 plastic “stick – on” road studs,
and about 8 – 12 metal road studs with a shank. Smooth road surfaces use less, rough roads use more.
Do not apply this product below 15 C – Setting time may be considerably longer than expected.
Test the Shore D hardness before subjecting the adhesive to the impact of traffic on the road.
At ambient temperature between 19 and 24 C, wait at least 4 hours before opening the road. Above 4 hours the hardness has reached 60 D.
For every 12 deg C lower road & ambient and temperature, the setting time will double in time.
Hardness: 80 Shore D (after 8 hours at 25 C)
Hardness: 60 Shore D after 4 hours at 25 C
Hardness: 40 Shore D after 8 hours at 18 to 20 C
Density: 1,8 g/cc.
