Resin ER161 –  Hardener EH161

 

Low viscosity, clear, resin system for high gloss potting and ornamental applications. Contains anti UV additives.

EH161 has improved colour and UV resistance. Good viscosity, with good chemical resistance, low shrinkage, good mechanical properties. Excellent UV and weathering resistance.  

Mix ratio of 100 to 50 by weight.

MIXING:

(2 cup method). Measure 100 g to 50 g by weight.  Mix resin and hardener thoroughly for 1 to 2 minutes. Avoid introducing air bubbles by mixing slowing and not whipping, using a flat stick. Scrape sides. Transfer to a second cup and mix again for 1 minute. This is to ensure that the two components are 100% mixed. Any unmixed material will not cure properly and will show as a soft, stick patch.

Setting  Time:    10 – 12 hours         at 25 Deg. C

Setting  Time:      2 – 4 hours   at 40 Deg. C

Hardness shore D:     70 (7 days at 25 C)
