Resin ER362 – Hardener EH 62
A two component, ambient temperature epoxy casting resin. Medium viscosity system for encapsulation of electrical equipment. Slow setting, low shrinkage, low heat exotherm up to 5 kg. Suitable for large castings such as transformers and magnets. The resin system will post cure to higher temperatures during operation.

EH62 350 to 450 mPa.s at 25 Deg. C
Mixed 4000 to 5000 mPa.s
Gelation Time: 2 to 3 Hours at 25 Deg. C (Test tube Gelnorm DIN 16945)
Setting Time: 1 to 2 hours at 25 deg. C ( 250 g mass)
Curing Time: 10 to 12 hours at 25 Deg. C (500 Grams)
Post Curing : 3 hours at 85 Deg. C

Hardness: 80 Shore D after 3 days at 25 Deg. C
Tensile Strength: 50 to 55 MPa
Flexural Strength: 85 MPa
Dielectric Strength: 21 KV / mm (Approx.)

Heat Distortion Temperature: 95 Deg. C (after post curing)
