Filled, hot curing, low shrinkage, epoxy casting resin system for encapsulation of medium voltage electrical switchgear equipment by gravity vacuum casting and pressure gelation. Designed for complicated bushings, with thick copper bars. Reduced cracking issues.

Pot Life: 6 to 8 hours at 40 Deg. C. and 30 minutes at 80 Deg C.
Gelation Time: 14 minutes at 120 Deg. C (Test tube Gelnorm DIN 16945)
Post Curing: 12 hours at 130 Deg. C
Warm resin ER839 to 50 to 60 deg. C and add hardener at room temperature. Mix well under vacuum. Pour into pressure pot and keep it at 40 deg C for pressure gelation. For conventional casting, warm resin to 80 to 90 deg. C, add hardener and mix well under vacuum.
