Laminating & Casting Epoxy Resin System
Medium viscosity, clear, epoxy resin system with high elongation for high performance filament winding, laminating and tooling applications. Excellent resistance against acids, alkalis and water. Very high heat resistance of 200 C.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Hand lamination – Filament winding – Casting
Warm resin to about 40 C to obtain a better viscosity – Pot life / working time will be considerably reduced.

Elongation in Tension: 3 – 5 %
Heat Distortion Temperature (with EH4):
60 Deg. C (7 days at 25 Deg C)
100 Deg C (Post curing at 100 Deg for 4 hrs)
180 Deg C (2 hrs at 80 C + 3 hrs at 170 C)
200 Deg C (2 hrs at 80 C + 3 hrs at 190 C)
NOTE: There is no full through-cure at room temperature, therefore the system must be post-cured.
TYPICAL CURE SCHEDULES
Use a maximum heat up rate of 20°C per hour. Cool at a maximum rate of 20°C per hour
NOTE: Due to the fact that this system requires a post cure, care must be taken when demoulding or handling the partially cured laminate.

Ensure – Adequate ventilation.

– Use of barrier creams
– Use of suitable hand cleaners
STORAGE
The shelf life is 12 months in unopened containers at room temperature.
